Whenever there is a band playing, and nobody dancing, what’s needed is for one person to attempt to get everyone else up.. well I tried but it didn’t work, but it was still a blast

I piled over to Christopher Mares’ house, where we were picked up by our good (Irish/Australian) friend Graeme Magowan, where he drove us back to his place for a huge birthday celebration at his place. One of the best nights I’ve had. While everyone was socializing, and sitting down, I put Lee’s Wolf-Hat on, covered my eyes and just went with it. I probably had the best night there! - Heaps of fun.

I’m back in Perth, and back in the classroom where I am finishing up my remaining Lectures in Perth (Photography, Graphic Design, and Web-Design) - I wondered around the downtown area of Perth, and also in Fremantle to take photos of people and places.

Our entire team at Create International is working very hard everyday on this project. We are very excited to see this film completed and released.

On our way to go for a hike, we stopped by a village where I got to play a guitar-like instrument, and then carried on. hiked through the jungles of Indonesia for 4 hours. This was my favourite day of the entire trip. I was in absolute heaven walking along the mountain playing Sigur Ros from my backpack, and taking pictures along the way. We finally made it to two sets of water-falls. We finally came to the last water-falls, where I met a couple of fellow travelers: AJ (Netherlands) + Santiago (Argentina). Being a world-traveller, I am continually excited to meet fellow travelers who are exploring the world, and off on their own adventures. The water was cold, but that didn’t prevent us from going for a swim. After-all it was the first time on the trip where swimming was available. Once again, Indonesia is a beautiful nation. “Asia” is very close to my heart, it’s even tattooed on me (Expedition Asia tattoo).

We drove up with our German friend to his village to Interview him about his work with producing Bio-Gas. I was super impressed with his Guest House which is available for tourists to stay at.

We are continually looking for things to film that would represent Indonesia and SE Asia as a nation. We hiked up this mountain to reach the lookout of the city which was slightly tiring due to the humidity. I’m the youngest member of the crew so I had no problem with the hike. Then again, I’ve trekked to the base camp of Mt. Everest in October of 2010 (Expedition Asia). At this look-out were statues, and monkeys. I don’t trust monkeys. Back in Nam, my friend Dawson was attacked, chased then fell down the high hill of Monkey Island.

Our project partner took us on a scenic drive in search of locations for filming our (mobilization) documentary. The views and landscape of Indonesia is just spectacular. I feel very privileged to be able to travel and experience different cultures.

Steve Baldwin (not the famous US actor) left us to go back home to Thailand. Jason and his family left at 5 am, and a few hours later we too were off to the airport to head to the next Island. I’ll be moving to Thailand in mid-September to work with Create International with my fellow crew members (Jason + Steve). We are off to start production on our next project which is to encourage people to come to SE Asia to get a heart for the people and to serve in different areas of ministry.

We finished filming what should have been our last scene (but one Character had to be removed from the project) which was the Akeka Muslim celebration. Part of the celebration includes killing a goat and having it for dinner. Jason filmed the lead up to the killing but asked me to film the rest since he doesn’t react well to blood, but without any warning they started killing it so he had to film it.
